Winning Films at AIFF 2017

Thank you to all who attended the Alameda International Film Festival (#AIFF) 2017! We were so fortunate to have such an eclectic program of independent films this year and a fantastic audience of film lovers to enjoy it.  Congratulations to the winning films, which accomplished no small feat in standing out among a diverse body of incredible cinema.

  • Executive Producers’ Prize ($150): Violet & June by Linnea Ritland
  • Best Foreign Language Short ($150): Sparta by Noëmie Nicolas
  • Best Documentary Short ($150): Fingerprints by Don Hardy
  • Best Comedy Short ($150): Candy-Gasms by Devon and Hart Perez
  • Best Narrative Student Short ($100): Boy’s Night by Nicholas Docter
  • Best Animated Student Short ($100): Eye Love You by Nikiel Suchit
  • Newcomer Award ($50): iRony by Radheya Jegatheva
